Paramount Property’s award-winning township continues to foster family living, wellness, and community spirit through its annual signature event.
SUNGAI PETANI, 23 August 2025 – Bukit Banyan, Paramount Property’s award-winning township in Sungai Petani, welcomed more than 2,000 runners at the annual Paramount Property Hero Run, marking its largest turnout to date. The much-anticipated community event, now in its third edition since 2023, featured two categories – the 5km Fun Run and the 10km Competitive Run – attracting families, fitness enthusiasts and seasoned runners alike.
The run was flagged off by Paramount Property Northern CEO, Wang Chong Hwa, together with Kedah State Youth and Sports Department officer, Kamarol Azlan Bin Abdull Hamid, and Corporate Hero Century CEO, Teoh Chia Chun, the event organiser. Participants were also treated to exciting lucky draws, finisher medals, and a vibrant carnival-like atmosphere.
Paramount Property, an established property developer in Kedah since 1981, launched Bukit Banyan in 2012. This 657-acretownship is designed to promote family living, sustainability, and community interaction, receiving industry recognition for its family-centric and placemaking principles.
The Paramount Property Hero Run is a living extension of these principles, turning landscapes into a space where residents and visitors gather to celebrate fitness, unity, and wellness.

The Paramount Property Hero Run features two segments. The 10-km race featured six categories – Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Veteran, Women’s Veteran, School Boy Open, School Girl Open – with top 10 finishers in each categories receiving trophies and cash prize of up to RM500. There were also lucky winners who walked away with a lucky draw offering cash rewards of RM1,000, RM500 and RM300 aside from trophies. The 5-km run was opened to all ages.
