This milestone brings the fifth residential phase of the integrated development closer to completion.

Petaling Jaya, 22 October 2026 – Paramount Property, the property development segment of Paramount Corporation Berhad, today marked the topping-out of Seiras, the fifth residential phase of Utropolis Batu Kawan, signalling the completion of the development’s main structural works and another key milestone in the growth of its 44.3-acre integrated development in Penang.
With a gross development value (GDV) of RM266 million, Seiras comprises 411 residential units within a 43-storey tower. Launched in 2025, the development introduces flexible dual-and triple-key configurations designed to cater to evolving household structures and lifestyles.
Following the topping-out, construction will advance to the architectural and interior works, including the completion of communal facilities and fit-out of fully furnished residential units. Seiras is expected to be completed ahead of schedule in the fourth quarter of 2027.

First established in 2016, Utropolis Batu Kawan has progressively grown through successive residential and commercial phases as Batu Kawan itself developed into an increasingly established growth corridor on the mainland of Penang.
“We have seen Batu Kawan evolve considerably since we first established Utropolis Batu Kawan here a decade ago. We have grown alongside the area, progressively adding homes, commercial spaces and amenities that contribute to a more complete urban environment. Seiras marks the next chapter in that journey,” Wang added.
Seiras is the fifth phase of Utropolis Batu Kawan, Paramount Property’s integrated development in Batu Kawan. The development brings together residential, retail, office and education components, anchored by the UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College campus.
Seiras is based on a co-living-enabled concept, with all units offering a built-up area of approximately 1,033 sq ft in either dual-key or triple-key configurations. Its triple-key concept, a first for a development in Penang, provides three separately accessible spaces within a single unit, giving owners flexibility for multigenerational living, co-living or rental arrangements.
